A Revolutionary Swede

One day, I met a wonderful Swede
A campaigner against big business greed
Who planted many a revolutionary seed
A wonderful woman, indeed!
To stay in touch, I did plead
A new best friend, I may need
To do many a revolutionary deed
Until the world is freed
But she had a boyfriend
To chat her up, I did intend
Revolutionary ideas, we’d defend
My lonely heart, I thought she’d mend
The world, big business will not feed
Our ideas, the masses could heed
I loved that revolutionary Swede
And sang: “maybe, one day, we’ll breed!”
