Some anarchists are hairy
There’s even the odd fairy
Some of them wear a beret
But of some you should be wary
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused by you
Some of them try to use you
Some of them should be used by you
Some anarchists are scary
Their bald heads make one wary
But are they really anarchists?
They behave and look like fascists!
They said “We predict a riot!”
We said “Don’t pay the poll tax man!
“Don’t even let the bailiffs in!”
Big business was wary
Non-payment was scary
Scotland was leading the way
Soon hardly anyone would pay
The Tories thought “We need a riot!”
Police chiefs thought
“We need a riot!”
So policemen started a riot!
The TV later showed the police started the riot!
Some Trotskyists are hairy
There’s even the odd fairy
Some of them wear a beret
But of some you should be wary
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused by you
Some of them try to use you
Some of them should be used by you
Class War anarchists wanted to take the blame
And Militant’s Steve Nally said we’d name their names
What side were you on, Steve?
What side were you on?
BIG BUSINESS!
We continued to say “Don’t pay the poll tax man!
“Don’t even let the bailiffs in!”
When the bailiffs had the gall
To say that they would call
Bailiff busters formed a wall
They couldn’t get in at all!
An MP not paying was beyond the pale
And Militant’s Terry Fields was sent to jail
But they couldn’t jail us all!
After Kuwait invaded Iraq
The SWP took a new tack
But Militant took the campaign seriously
And carried on, to ensure a poll tax victory!
